The
Jack Jouett House is administered by the Woodford County Heritage Committee
on behalf of the Woodford County Fiscal Court. Our mission is to preserve
the Jack Jouett House and to communicate its story. This important task
offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities, and we welcome your
participation at any level. Appropriate training will be provided. Please
let us know which of the following areas interest you by filling out
and returning the form below. Thank you for your support!
Tour
Guide/Host
Share your enthusiasm for history by giving tours of the Jack Jouett
House to special groups, special events participants, and/or drop-in
visitors. If you prefer, you may serve as a host and assist guests in
other aspects of their visits.
Special
Events Support
Help our special events run smoothly by assisting us with such tasks
as registration, concessions, parking, ushering, hospitality, or any
of the other details that make or break an activity.
Clerical
Support
Can you type, file, do graphic design, make phone calls, and perform
other such vital functions to help keep us organized? We need you!
Research
Use your research skills to help us expand our knowledge of Jack Jouett,
his home, his family, and his times. Diverse subjects need to be investigated
at a number of different facilities.
Collections
Maintenance
Assist us as we catalog and care for the furniture, artwork, textiles,
ceramics, metalware, glassware, books, and documents of the Jack Jouett
House.
Other
We welcome any skill you wish to share with us—even if we haven’t
realized our need for it yet! Just let us know how you’d like
to help!
Financial
Support
Our imaginations and our dreams for the Jack Jouett House are limited
only by our financial ability to make them reality. Your tax-deductible
gift to the Woodford County Heritage Committee can help us make great
things happen. [The Woodford County Heritage Committee is a 501(c)3
non-profit corporation.]
